Company Values

Golden Rule

Do unto others what you would have other do unto you. (Not just: DON'T do unto others...)

Humble

1. Avoid talking down to others.

2. Don’t leave lower members of the team out of the loop.

3. Don’t judge a team member for the “dumb” questions they ask.

4. Don’t gossip about, gang up on, or bully a team member that you perceive as less valuable.

5. Admit mistakes readily.

6. Learn from your mistakes.

7. Even when you are right, be quick to concede ways you might have done things better.

8. Apologize quickly.

9. Envying a coworker promoted above you is arrogance; “I should have gotten that promotion.”

10. Be as forgiving of other peoples’ faults as you would like them to be of yours.

11. Don’t hide your ignorance from your teammates.

12. Truly consider others’ ideas before you shoot them down.

13. Be quick to forgive.

14. You haven’t really won if your teammate loses; be magnanimous.

15. Restating your resume doesn’t impress anyone.

16. Don’t get mad at mistakes; making an honest mistake is not a character flaw or a moral failure.

17. Open your heart to being impressed by the lowest member of your team.

18. All the mistakes in the company are not made by people on other teams; everything your team does isn’t perfect.

19. People don’t become suddenly become flawless when they are promoted to team leader; let them make their mistakes.

20. Senior management isn’t so bad; the company has come this far.

21. Managers are here to serve employees. Employees are here to serve customers.
