Giving Edit Access to Clients

Instead of giving the Setup-Link to your clients, go to the setup link & set a new password for for your client's edit access. Create a password that is somewhat related to the business name or client name.

Example:
If Business Name is Black Pearl Jewelries

Set the Password as: BPJewelries@2024!

Password must be at least 8 characters, at least 1 number, a mix of upper case/lower case characters. Please do not use something which is too obvious for security purposes.

Save the Login Details in Bitrix, under Resources, in case you'll need these details again in the future.

It is better this way so the clients can't mess up the password setup, and the email with the password that you'll be sending will forever be a reference for him in case he forgets. Plus we also gave the password in case we need it.

You can use the below email template to inform the client about the access.
