Cancellations: Asking who they moved to
Not knowing where the client moved services to is a big blind spot. Knowing where they went gives you insight into pricing, service gaps, or messaging you can fix.
Here are 4 short, natural ways your PMs could ask that question — phrased to make customers feel comfortable and less defensive, so they’re more likely to share:
Option 1 — Casual and curious
“No worries at all — just so we understand how we compare, do you mind sharing which company you decided to move forward with?”
Why it works: Feels like genuine curiosity, not sales pressure.
Option 2 — Empathetic and professional
“I totally understand — just for our internal notes, could you tell me which company you chose? It helps us improve what we offer.”
Why it works: Frames it as a quality-improvement question, not judgmental.
Option 3 — When they sound hesitant
“That’s completely fine, we’re just trying to learn what people are looking for these days. Who did you end up going with, if you don’t mind me asking?”
Why it works: Gives them permission to say it casually, reduces resistance.
Option 4 — Direct but polite
“Got it — and who will be handling your site or marketing moving forward?”
Why it works: Simple, businesslike wording that feels like part of standard offboarding.

Alternate Domains
ONLY
when it is the
client who proactively requested for us to keep their Alternate Domain, if the only time we would keep and renew their alternate domains for them.
But before you submit this from your Dashboard, request approval from Scott first.
Seasonal Themes
Kudos to Andre for creating a Seasonal Halloween Theme for a client. If you need the same for your client, feel free to create a double ticket and assign it to Andre but communicate with Andre regarding completion date.
